Reminder: Submit Landscaping Plans and Exterior Changes for Approval

Dear Brighton Crossings Residents,

As we approach the start of winter, the Brighton Crossings Metropolitan District would like to remind all residents of the importance of submitting landscaping plans and exterior modification requests for review and approval.

As outlined in the District’s Design Guidelines, landscaping plays a vital role in maintaining the aesthetic appeal and overall harmony of our community. We appreciate your efforts to enhance the beauty of Brighton Crossings through thoughtful and well-planned improvements. To ensure that all changes align with the community’s vision, residents are required to submit landscaping plans and exterior alteration requests for approval prior to installation.

Please note the following key requirements:

  • Initial Landscaping: All homes must have a buried sprinkler system installed in the front, side, and backyard areas. All plant material must be irrigated, and initial landscaping must be installed within nine months of closing
  • Exterior Modifications: Any changes to the exterior of your home or landscaping—including additions such as trampolines, pergolas, and privacy screens—must be submitted for approval and comply with District guidelines.
  • Fencing: All fences must also be reviewed, approved, and installed in accordance with the District’s fencing standards.

You may review the complete Design Guidelines and access the Design Review Request Form on the District’s website:

Completed applications can be submitted by email to info@brightoncrossingsmd.live or mailed to:

Thank you for your cooperation and continued commitment to keeping Brighton Crossings a beautiful and well-maintained community.

Sincerely,
