Trash & Recycling Information
New Construction Setup for Trash Service
When your property closing is confirmed by your title company, the District Management Team will arrange your trash service with Waste Connections. For new homes, trash totes will be delivered within two weeks of your closing date. In the meantime, black trash bags placed curbside will be collected.
Trash Collection Schedule
- Pickup Day: Every Friday
- Set Out Time: No later than 7:00 a.m.
- Storage: Trash totes must be stored in an enclosed space, except on pickup days.

Recycling
Recycling is collected bi-weekly.

Trash Fee
The trash fee is included in your quarterly Brighton Crossings Operations invoice.
Waste Connections Guidelines
- Yard Waste: Up to 2 bundles of tree limbs and 3 bags per week.
- Weight Limit: Each bag or bundle must not exceed 40 lbs.
- Cardboard: Flatten and bundle boxes (max size 2 ft x 2 ft; under 40 lbs per bundle).
Bulky Item Pickup
Special item pickup is billed directly to residents. Please contact Waste Connections to arrange pickup here.
- Small Items : Mattress, box spring, recliner, table, loveseat, or up to four kitchen chairs.
- Large Items: Stove, washer, dryer, dishwasher, or water heater.
