Snow Removal - Scope & Responsibility
A winter storm is approaching the Colorado area, and we want to ensure all residents are informed of the District’s snow removal procedures.
Our snow removal contractor is committed to delivering timely and high-quality service throughout the storm. While every reasonable effort will be made to remain on schedule, we kindly ask for your patience and understanding as we navigate what is expected to be particularly challenging weather conditions in the coming days.
Please review the District’s Snow Removal Policy outlined below:
SERVICE #1: Zero Tolerance Areas
Zero Tolerance Snow Removal
Snow removal and ice melt will be applied at any level of snowfall in the following areas:
- All Brighton mailboxes
- Venture Center entry area sidewalk
- Fitness Center entry area sidewalk
SERVICE #2: Post-Storm 2” Threshold Snow Removal – Walkways, Courtyards, Duplexes, and Parking Lots
- Snow removal will occur once snowfall has stopped and 2 inches or more has accumulated.
- Snowfall measurements are taken post-storm at three designated locations:
- Venture Center
- Fitness Center
- Royal Pine Park
- Once these areas reach the 2” threshold, the snow removal team will begin service on walkways, parking lots, courtyards, and duplex areas.
